Wall of Honor

Quincy, Illinois

The Quincy Gems are finishing up for their 2016 Summer Prospect League baseball season on the field and off. For the fans, they will see some new things this year at Q.U. Stadium including new bathrooms, new bullpens and a Wall of Honor for living and deceased veterans.

The granite memorial consists of a large mural with images of our nation’s military laser etched into the stone. The other 4 large pieces of granite can be filled with up to 500 names. One of the four panels is already filled with names of those who served in various branches of the armed services.
