Full Job Description
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS PREFERRED.
Essential functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise all AP/AR functions

• Credit card management and reconciliation
• Maintain monthly accounting close
• Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and all supporting documents
• Execute cash account journal entries
• General familiarity with US GAAP
• Preparation of bi-weekly payroll
• Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll taxes, W2, and 1099 forms
• Sales Tax reports for multiple states and monitoring Nexus
• Administer the company’s benefits program including quarterly insurance reports and an annual benefits audit
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Forecast annual federal taxes

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least five years’ financial management experience
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Construction accounting, including job costing, WIP Reporting, and percentage of completion calculation
• Strong computer skills; knowledge of Sage/Peachtree accounting software
• Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills along with an attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to interact with a variety of personalities at all levels of the organization
