 The new 29,000 sq ft, two-story courthouse will be located in downtown Midland and will replace the existing courthouse, which the city is rapidly outgrowing. This new 29,000 sq ft, 2-story courthouse located in downtown Midland incorporates cantilevered structural elements to make the most effective use of a limited site and incorporates high-quality, durable finishes appropriate to the function of the space. The facility’s amenities include secure entrances, three courtrooms, processing areas, central detention and arraignment facilities, and administrative offices including a prosecutor’s office and magistrate facilities.
