Aria Health Systems
The Torresdale Campus is a state-accredited level II trauma center and in 2007, it welcomed the addition of a 32,000-square-foot Heart Center, which has capacity for 400 surgical procedures per year. With the newly planned expansion, the Torresdale Campus will have additional outpatient capacity to serve the community and space for future growth. The new building and addition will enhance current circulation and wayfinding for patients and visiting families.
The project encompasses 126,000 square feet of new construction and 20,000 square feet of renovation. The new building will be a three- or four-story patient medical tower with the first floor designed to contain the new Emergency Department and outpatient entrance. Upper floors will contain outpatient services and shell space for future expansion. Aria will be targeting LEED certification.
