Providence Care Hospital
Providence Care offers over 20 community outreach services in aging, rehabilitative and mental health across southeastern Ontario.
The design and construction of the new hospital will adhere to the guidelines and sustainability principles of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system.
The building team’s goal is to achieve a LEED® Silver certification for its green construction practices.
There will be improved learning and research facilities allowing Providence Care to offer more educational opportunities to staff and community partners.
Providence Care will be able to maintain its role as a teaching hospital affiliated with Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College and other post-secondary institutions.
